The DMR-BWT720 helps people to use time more efficiently by archiving high-quality Full-HD content to a Blu-ray Disc™ while recording two TV programmes simultaneously to the HDD.

The DIGA Player app lets you easily control DIGA-recorded programmes and live broadcasts for viewing on an iOS or Android smart device.

The DMR-BWT720 is equipped with DLNA server/client functionality. By connecting to a LAN and using a compatible DLNA client device recorded programmes and AVCHD and JPEG data archived on the DMR-BWT720's HDD can be enjoyed in a separate room. In addition WMV AVCHD JPEG and MP3 data can be played on the DMR-BWT720 from a personal computer with a DLNA server function.

By utilizing the ad banner space the EPG - which features a fast on-screen appearance of only about 1 second - is designed to display the programme list in a larger size than in previous models. The EPG screen also shows the programme presently being watched in a small window so the user can continue to watch it while searching through the EPG for another programme.

The DMR-BWT720 supports a USB-compatible external HDD so collections of content recorded onto the DMR-BWT720 can be moved over to the external HDD. Further the content that has been moved to the external HDD can be played directly via the DMR-BWT720 or archived directly to a Blu-ray Disc™.
